Inga From - The face of Hippie Dog:
Inga From, CDBC, CPDT-KSA, distinguishes herself as one of only two Certified Dog Behavior Consultants in Minnesota, acknowledged by the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. She also holds accreditation as a Professional Dog Trainer from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Inga specializes in addressing trauma-induced behaviors in dogs, with a particular focus on shelter and rescue canines. Boasting an extensive background exceeding twenty years in animal behavior, including more than a decade devoted to shelter environments, Inga has elevated her passion for canine behavior into a distinguished profession. Notably, she played a pivotal role for over five years at a local humane society, serving as the foremost authority on behavior and training within the shelter. In recognition of her exceptional contributions, Inga received the prestigious Premier Shelter Staff Award from the national Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Founding Hippie Dog, a holistic animal behavior business, in 2014, Inga's pursuit of knowledge led her to India, where she studied street dogs and received mentorship from John Rogerson, a renowned dog trainer and behaviorist from the UK. Inga's training methodology is deeply rooted in positive reinforcement and motivational techniques, aligning with the principles of LIMA (Least Invasive Minimally Aversive). By adopting a dog-centric perspective and empathetically considering the dog's point of view, Inga challenges conventional training methods. Formerly chairing the Board of Directors for the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), Inga has established herself as a trailblazer in the field. In addition to her roles as an animal behavior consultant and trainer, Inga practices as an animal intuitive, providing energy healing and intuitive guidance to dogs and horses with passion.

Nate Landaas2023-11-19 I really felt Shed training classes with Inga, and her staff was exactly what I was hoping for going into it. I felt the field exercises as opposed to being in a building really helped me understand how to encourage and handle my dog while looking for deer antlers. It has going from my dog randomly finding one last summer to a activity both me and my dog can enjoy. Thank you for the experience and expertise offered. Eve Toomey2023-11-15 They are very responsive and professional would recommend to anyone looking for help with their dog or finding a dog that is a fit. I am so grateful that Inga is very experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about helping dogs and their human companions. Inga only uses positive training methods, the dogs are happy, the dog owner is happy, the training is well organized and in my experience everything flows smoothly. This is easier than I expected. I see why this is called hippy dog, but I like to call it happy dog :-) because this training doesn't involve any stress for you or your dog! Happy dog, happy you!
