A Hippie Dog is a Happy dog!

Dog Training Classes

Fun, Effective Dog Training classes! Come to Hippie Dog for results that last when you leave the classroom. Enjoy small class sizes, lots of personal attention, and the latest methods in dog training taught by certified instructors. We only offer positive reward based training.

Do you have a new puppy in need of manners and socialization? Just adopted a new dog? Or is it simply time to polish your dog’s basic life skills? We get you and your dog on the right track with come when called, anti-jumping, impulse control exercises, loose-leash walking, leave it, stay, greeting people and other dogs & learning dog body language & leash handling skills so you will know when, where and how to apply your new dog training to real life.

What do you mean by holistic? We think of all aspects of the dog in regards to the training and/or behavior issues – body, mind and soul. We use the holistic approach to come up with creative approaches to the conflicts you are having with your pet.

Effective, humane, positive reward based training.
Class instructors are professional, knowledgeable, certified and fun!
Class size is kept small to ensuring individual attention from the trainer.
Unique holistic approach you won’t get any place else!

The aim our classes is to have a happy well-behaved dog that has learned life long skills that can be used in real life. Using a holistic approach, we will cover all aspects of the dog: body, mind, and soul, teaching you how to read your dog in multiple ways. We cover both the theory of how dogs learn — so you know how to solve problems outside the classroom  — and practice everyday scenarios like polite greetings, walk nice on leash and more.

* Effective & humane, reward based training.

* Open enrollment style classes for puppies and dogs of any training level.

* Class instructors are professional, knowledgeable and fun!

* Class size is kept small to ensuring individual attention from the trainer.

* Unique holistic approach you won’t get any place else!

*At Hippie dog it’s all about love not war with your pooch!

* Some trainers promise to fix all your dog’s bad behaviors. But changing behavior—as we all know—takes cooperation and compliance by multiple parties, so we think giving guarantees about behavior is downright unethical.

* Instead we strive for the following:
