Myra Fourwinds
Myra is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KSA) and Certified Family Dog Mediator™️ with over 30 years of experience in diverse areas of dog training, including obedience, protection, agility, herding, tracking, search-and-rescue, drug detection, scent discrimination, therapy, and service dog training.
Diagnosed as autistic at age 60, Myra’s multiple disabilities have provided her with unique insights and the motivation to master the training of service dogs and adapt techniques for individuals with various disabilities.
Since 2005, she has been leading classes in St. Paul, Minnesota for owner-trainers of service dogs and for “reactive” dogs, helping individuals with conditions like PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Epilepsy, as well as parents of children on the autism spectrum.
